While I try not to define myself by what I do, I should tell you I'm a teacher.
I'm in my third year as the only sixth grade teacher in a private Christian school. They trust me to do what I want. They had no idea what they would get when they decided to hire me.
I'm a follower of Christ. My work is ministry. I love what I do. I don't get paid much. I do it because God wants me to.
I also really like grammar so that last sentence is hard for me to leave that way. (Except for commas. I have a loathing relationship with commas and often leave them out of sentences)
I also love to have deep meaningful conversations about the following things:
- The Church
- The Word of God
- Students and their weirdnesses (we're going to pretend that's a word)
- Things I have done and places I have lived
- Community
- Camp Ministry
- Risk
- Words
- Books
